We have a school sponsored field trip to see some special Mozart musicians on May 17th. We have been given permission to use the Westwood bus, but we need a CDL licensed driver! Do you have one or know someone who has one? Please reach out to Minda at admin@cimarronlivingeducation.com. Thanks!

Our last Fireside of the school year is upon us! We do need a host for this one. Worst case scenario, we can gather at a coffee shop. Check the Enrolled Families Facebook page for updates. Join us! These Firesides are so good for the soul!

Last skills camp of this school year!
“From Scratch”: Butter, Jam, & Biscuits!
Join us for a fun morning of culinary collaborations! We will learn how to make butter and seasonal jam from scratch plus a bonus biscuit mix in a jar! This class will help us discover that cooking is more than just recipes! Participants will follow the lead of experienced culinary teacher, Angela Doss, in this hands-on experience as she inspires students to become confident in the kitchen.
All students will go home with a treat to share!

Term 3 exams are coming up FAST! Exam week is May 10th and 12th.
Remember, our exam weeks have early release at 1:00 pm.
Just as with Terms 1 and 2, we will be needing a few parents to help out for a couple of hours (or less!).
Please sign up here.

Our students have been studying Mozart during Term 3 and have the incredible opportunity to see the pieces they’ve been studying performed LIVE! Parents are welcome to join if you’d like (although not required). The concert will take place at Talley Time Cultural Arts studio during two sessions (so we can fit all the students in the space). The first concert will be at 11:00 am and the next one at 1:00 pm. We just need a bus driver! (See above…)

You may have heard the phrase tossed around Cimarron this year, “our first pancake”. This phrase came from our beloved Mrs. Reece. When you make pancakes, the first one always has a few kinks to work out but you strive to get better with the future pancakes! Our first school year is no different. We certainly didn’t do everything perfectly, but I am so, so proud of how our first year has gone…and THRILLED to see how we improve!
To celebrate our first year, we’ll have a pancake celebration lunch on our last day of school. So no need to send a lunch! (If your child has food allergies, we will have a batch of gluten free pancakes…your child is also welcome to bring a special lunch just for them.)

Coming soon!
