I hope you are starting off your Thanksgiving break with peace and gratitude. I know that I am immensely thankful for each Cimarron family, but especially for our lovely students. Thank you for sharing them with the Cimarron staff!

Parent/Teacher Conferences
Our teachers will be holding Parent/Teaching Conferences in the next few weeks.
Before the meeting, parents will need to complete the
Term 1 parent reflection form (if you haven’t already) and make any needed updates to your student’s beginning of the year Vision & Goals sheets.

Cimarron Review- December 12th
We are VERY excited to share our upcoming event, the Cimarron Review! We invite all families to our sweet school on Sunday, December 12th as our children share a feast of beautiful ideas. The afternoon will hold so many wonderful things- scenes from Shakespeare, poetry, singing, displays of student work, refreshments, and more!
Not only will you get to enjoy the lovely presentations by our students, there will also have a silent auction. We will have some teacher experience auction items (opportunities for students to do something fun with a specific teacher). We also need your help!
Cimarron will be accepting silent auction offers now until
November 22nd.
Some examples include:
- Photo session with a photographer
- Weekend trip to a cabin
- Movie package (4 movie tickets, popcorn, and drinks)
- Tickets to a sporting event
- Museum tickets
- Ice skating lessons
- Be creative!
Please email Minda a description of all offers of auction items no later than November 22nd.
(Plans are being made to have an online bidding portal to allow for out of town family members/friends to participate. )

Amazon Wish-Lists
A wonderful opportunity to help our school thrive is to take a look at each of the following Amazon wish lists- one for each class as well as the all-school list. These lists will be added to as needs arise.
Notifications
There are several ways Cimarron sends out information. Some of these sources are utilized on a weekly basis while others are as needed. Please be sure that you are signed up for each program. Not sure if you are or how to sign up? Email Minda for help.
Google Classroom– important announcements and weekly recaps from your child’s teacher.
Cimarron Narrator– school wide newsletter containing all sorts of important announcements. Can be found on the school website, but it is preferable that you sign up to receive notifications in your email inbox.
Remind Texts– all last minute notifications (such as weather delays), etc. Sign up here.
